After a long span, an unapologetic transformation of the mundane into the, well, video.

This is the first video I compiled when I decided to start putting in some effort and time to exploring the medium. Well, this one particularly didn’t need much effort! It just happened to rain outside when the thought occurred to me and I was listening to this song Cucurrucucu Paloma performed by Caetano Veloso. I just stood at the window and recorded. And when I looked at the video on my laptop, I was like, hey I can start with this.

 Maybe this video was influenced by my first encounter with this song, the waterfall scene in Happy Together by Wong Kar Wai.

This is one of the first shots I took with my Canon 7D. Found this thing crawling in a flower pot at my brother’s house in Bangalore. The thread like things reminded me of Kafka’s Odradek. This is just like one of those which goes ‘video yaay!’.
