After a long span, an unapologetic transformation of the mundane into the, well, video.

This here is my first try with playing with a narrative. I took these shots few days back from noon till dusk. And later as I went about compiling them, a narrative (or story, if i may) started to emerge. I went ahead and built on it to arrive at this.

My fascination at how a story can emerge from a string of fragmented events.

This is the first video I compiled when I decided to start putting in some effort and time to exploring the medium. Well, this one particularly didn’t need much effort! It just happened to rain outside when the thought occurred to me and I was listening to this song Cucurrucucu Paloma performed by Caetano Veloso. I just stood at the window and recorded. And when I looked at the video on my laptop, I was like, hey I can start with this.

 Maybe this video was influenced by my first encounter with this song, the waterfall scene in Happy Together by Wong Kar Wai.
